Li Li
LI LI is the winner of the 2009 Mario Lanza Opera Prize, 2009 Ashleyan Opera Prize, and two Beijing young artists vocal competitions (2005-2006). She graduated at the Beijing Normal University, and obtained a Diploma with distinction at the Birmingham Conservatoire. LI LI’s teachers and coaches: Lin Sun, Margaret Field, Julian Pike, Jane Robinson, Cheryl Studer, Noelle Barker. Li Li currently holds an Ellen May Cheshire Scholarship, awarded to Birmingham Conservatoire’s most promising artists. Li Li’s opera repertoire includes: Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Queen of Night (The Magic Flute), Konstanze (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail), Elettra (Idomeneo), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Liu (Turandot), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Musetta (La Boheme), Agathe (Der Freischutz), Michaela (Carmen), Rusalka (Rusalka). Lieder repertory: Brahms, Schubert, Duparc, Schumann. LI LI was conducted by ie: Lionel Friend(Donna Anna), and Stephen Barlow(Queen of Night). She has recently performed for the charity concert series A Touch Of Basil.
