Martin Rendle

Martin Rendle (Tenor) attained his performer's diploma at the London College of Music. He is a regular performer of Opera, Operetta and Oratorio. He has toured nationally and internationally, working with companies such as, Glyndebourne, Opera Box, Columbia Artists, European Chamber Opera, London City Opera and Crystal Clear Opera.

Recent roles include: Tamino/Monostatos (Magic Flute), Goro (Madama Butterfly), Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus), Frederic (Pirates of Penzance), Remendado (Carmen), Basilio/Curzio (Marriage of Figaro), Gaston (La Traviata) and Spoletta (Tosca).

Martin was assistant director for European Chamber Opera's tours of La Boheme and Tosca, and directed Opera d'Amici's production of La Boheme. He has directed a number of performances for his own company 'Simply Opera', including Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute and scenes from La Traviata and La Boheme.

Martin works as a freelance workshop leader and vocal animateur in schools, and the community, and is Artistic Director for 'Simply Opera'.
