Trish ShandorBMA in vocal performance from Oakland University -A dramatic coloratura soprano with a strong emphasis in both jazz studies and classical voice. -One of Clinton Township’s most prominent vocal music educators -Can often be seen and heard singing a variety of musical styles with a chameleon-like approach. -Recognized by her colleagues as one of the most versatile vocalists in Metro Detroit. -Honored by Oakland University as the Outstanding Student in Jazz Performance. -Recently a featured vocalist on the Cable television program, “Time out for Opera” with Jonathan Swift, sponsored by the Michigan Opera Theatre. -Currently performing throughout the Metro Detroit area as a classical & jazz artist. -Past performances include the Michigan Premier Opera as the role of Madame Pompous "Too Many Sopranos" (Penhorwood), Detroit Opera House scene performances, OU jazz band, the Patterson Rhythm Pace Dance Ensemble, and Mark Stone's Steel Band Ensemble, "Pan Jumbies".
