Colin Stone won the Royal Over-Seas League Piano Competition in 1986 and a highly-acclaimed Wigmore Hall debut that same year launched his career as a soloist. He has performed over twenty concertos and in 2002 made his debut as a soloist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. His discography ranges from Beethoven to contemporary music and he has recorded for a number of labels including Olympia and Chandos. In 1992 Colin began a series of recordings for Pickwick's IMP Masters label with the then recently formed London Mozart Trio, (of which Leonid Gorokhov and Krzysztof Smietana are now members).
