Vincent Ranallo
Vincent Ranallo is a very gifted lyric baritone, who sings with passion and intelligence a wide repertoire streched from the early baroque to contemporary music. He worked with Marie Daveluy, Raffi Armenian, Gilles Tremblay, Hervé Niquet, Ernst Haefliger and Anthony Rolfe Johnson. Mr Ranallo sings with many choirs and orchestras both in Quebec and France (l'Orchestre Metropolitain, la Chapelle de Montreal,the S M C Q, the N E M,the Montreal baroque orchestra, Loches festival,l'Opera comique du Quebec, l'orchestre symphonique de Ville-Mont-Royal...) . He is also praised in recitals often broadcasted on the CBC . This year, he will take a big part, with the S M C Q and Chants Libres, in the World premiere of "Manuscrit trouvé à Saragosse", an opera by José Evangelista, and "L'Arche" by Isabelle Panneton with the N E M.
