Rebecca Wood

Rebecca Wood was a Woodwind Finalist in the BBC Young Musician competition and also Principal of the NYO.

After studying at the RAM in London, the APA in Hong Kong and the GSMD, London she joined Quintessence wind quintet in 1997.

Rebecca performed the Mozart Concerto with the London Mozart Players in 2000. Other recent concerto performances include both the Cimarosa and Strauss Concertos.

She plays with orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic and English National Opera and in 2000 she toured the USA with London City Opera.

She toured the UK with Ken Hill’s Phantom of the Opera in 2000-2001 and is currently on tour with Disney's production of Beauty and the Beast.
