The Jupiter Ensemble was founded in 1991 and has been playing together regularly ever since, giving concerts throughout the United Kingdom. As well as performances at Music Clubs and Festivals, they organise and administer their own Concert Series in conjunction with a number of Schools Presentations.
The Ensemble specialises in performing works for Clarinet, Strings and Piano, which enables them to select from a varied repertoire and provide an extremely enjoyable evening. Many distinguished composers found the combination of clarinet and strings particularly alluring. As a result, some of the worlds most beautiful music was written. In the repertoire of the Ensemble you will find the names of some of the greatest musicians of all time. The Ensemble also actively encourages new works, and arrangements to be written for their combination and is fast gaining a reputation for presenting these pieces in a way that is both interesting and entertaining for audiences. |
"The infectious enthusiasm of the trio soon communicated itself to the
